Nice surprise. Good food value for the dollar. I liked the spaghetti and meatballs. I'd return if I lived close.

*UPDATE* I contacted Noodles customer service about my experience below and the general manager rectified the situation 4-fold, making Noodles Customer Service as delicious as their food. Thanks, Noodles! I upgraded my 2-star rating back to the original 4, although I'm leaving my experience posted, just so you can save yourself the Friday night grief. The first time I came to this location in December, I was charged the wrong amount and the sweet worker noticed herself before I did and sent the manager to me with some cash about 20 minutes after my order. The food was good and everyone was friendly, so that's what matters most, right? I would have given it four stars after my first visit....even though there was a creepy guy staring at me most of my meal and I pointed him out to my boyfriend for safety's sake. I went there Friday night with some girlfriends because I had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. The place was a MAD HOUSE and we had to wait in line for about 10 minutes, then for our food for at least 20 more. The thing is, I paid for my order, then waited for my receipt and the punk kid cashier just stared at me. I said, "Receipt?" and he did nothing except move to the next customer. So, I took my number and got out of the way - it really was insane. We had to clean off our own table, but were actually able to find seats, which was a miracle. Today, I checked my credit card statement, and, sure enough, the cashier took my coupon but did NOT apply the discount. I could have verified this had he given me my receipt that I ASKED for. I understand things get crazy, but a receipt is kind of standard, right? Yes, I was silly enough to not hear the amount he was asking for when I handed him my card, also due to all of the crowd at the store. I paid full price for all of my meals. Why put up with all that madness for NO coupon? I am THOROUGHLY unimpressed with this establishment. The food, however, was delicious, so in spite of the crowds, the bad parking, the lack of receipt, the lack of applying my coupon, the cleaning my own table, etc. etc., I gave the place 2 stars instead of 1.

I asked my friend to take me to a healthy noodle place & this is what he came up with. I like that there are tons of options when it comes to healthy food. I had the chicken w/ whole wheat pasta which was very tasty. My friend recommended the tomato basil soup which wasn't as tasty as he talked about. I'll stick w/ my original pick if I return to this chain in the future.

This is my kids favorite place for lunch! The food is consistent and fast. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and courteous. Perfect for a quick lunch with the kiddos!

Apparently this place has a minimum of 11 facial piercings requirement for anybody seeking employment at their establishment. I must be getting old because I don't really see how riddling your face with metal is a way of expressing oneself but rather a series of bad decisions. That being said, I'm not judging, I just couldn't understand why the pretty girl with no facial piercing is washing windows while the girl taking my order looks like she should be playing bass for Pussy Riot. Other than that they were very nice, just a complete waste of a perfectly nice face IMO. The first drink cup I was given was beyond dirty, it had some big green booger looking thing smeared across it. I was really surprised she even gave it to me. I just told her I wanted a paper cup instead because I didn't want to drink from anything they considered to be washed. If not for these 2 things I would have given a charitable 4th star. The food: Bangkok Thai Curry Noodles: If I didn't know the name of what I was eating I probably would have asked "do I taste some curry in there?" But knowing that I ordered curry noodles a bold curry flavor would have been appreciated. Sriracha sauce to the rescue! Which is a shame because the plethora of veggies were fresh, crisp, and bright in color, mixed in with a tasty rice noodle. A stronger curry sauce and this would have been a damn fine bowl of noodles. The Mac and Cheese: The menu says this is their most popular item. The majority of their patrons must be 8 year olds because there wasn't anything special about it. The only thing that stood out about it was how oily it was. It tasted good but I don't know that I've ever had a mac and cheese that didn't. The Drink Machine: I really would have expected we'd be flying around on hover boards Marty McFly style before such a sophisticated drink dispensary would grace our nation's fast food eateries. My daughter discovered Mello Yello from this thing which led to me getting talked into getting a 12 pack of it on the way home.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times with no complaints. Im easy to please however this time did it for me. The place was dead when we walked in. After about five minutes I watched a to-go order get placed up on the counter and sat for twenty minutes listening to the staff talk about what kind of liquor they were going to drink this weekend the manager Misty included. finally after waiting twenty minutes I got up and asked what was taking so long. The same manager finally grabbed our cold ass food and handed it to me with no real apology and off I went. Id think twice before spending the money to eat here. Poor customer service and staff walking around with hickies on their necks. Gross!

I was in the mood for some noodles and thought Noodles & Co. could get it right. The location is excellent, service was good and quick, but it was, perhaps, a little pricey. I ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles and it was excellent although I still don't know what the white vegetable was (could have used a little less of it). As everyone says the drink machine is pretty cool and it has a TON of selections. For example, I just wanted a Coke and it kept having me specify which type of Coke I wanted... kinda reminded me of a Star Trek replicator. In terms of menu they have their bases covered between American, Italian, and Asian noodles. That being said, they could provide more of a selection (ie. Angel Hair Pasta!). They also offer salads, soups, and tasty treats such as cookies.

I'm a carb-loving lady, so a place that is noodle-centric is a place I want to be! Luckily for me, Noodles & Co is within a block of my apartment so we walk to get dinner frequently. It is a chain restaurant, but it is consistently good service and tasty food! The people who work here are very nice! Quick too- you order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. There are 3 sections on the menu- American, Mediterranean and Asian and then each section has 3 pasta dishes, a salad and a soup, so there are really tons of options! Then once you pick your entree and size, you can add a protein- among the 5 or so choices are tofu and Parmesan-crusted chicken breast. They have a "trio" deal where you can get a small size pasta, add a protein and get a side salad or a soup for $7.50! What a bargain! This location doesn't have a lot of booths, but there are plenty of tables, both indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor patio is pretty spacious.

This place is great. The food is good and fast. A great alternative to fast food! I highly recommend the pasta primavera.

Macaroni and cheese was pretty bland, the cooked chicken was juicy and plentiful. The salads looked fresh, but from what I tasted, a lot of the pasta is overcooked. The service is nice and the food is quick, just nothing that remarkable.

I have never been that impressed with these guys. I can see why people enjoy it, but I just don't like it. The star rating is based on the service for sure. I have pretty much ordered everyone of the items on the menu. And always thought it was bland and not appealing. I think I will try one of the sandwiches next time.

  • David E.

I had the mac and cheese with meatballs. The mac and cheese was average at best. I ate it but certainly wouldn't recommend it. The meatballs were horrible. They were obviously frozen and reheated by microwave. They seemed to have an outer coating that was plastic like and the inside was mushy. I ended up giving the meatballs to my dogs, but unfortunately felt bad for them after I did.

Full disclosure: I worked at the Sugarhouse Noodles & Company for about 9 months in college. While working there, I learned that everything is actually cooked fresh to order using vegetables from a reputable local produce supplier. Even the ginormous rice crispy treats are made in-house every morning. The kitchens, as you can see from the counter at each location, are kept immaculately clean. If you have food allergies, company policy is to use sanitized tongs, pans and spatulas to ensure that nothing dangerous ends up in your dish. With those things aside. I still eat here. A lot. All of the dishes are good, and it's not much more expensive than a trip to McDonald's or somewhere that immediately blocks up your arteries. Nearly everything on the menu is vegetarian-friendly to begin with, and the protein additions are tasty if that's your thing. Even the tofu, which I generally don't care for, is pretty good here if you order it cooked a little extra-crispy. My two favorite dishes are the Tuscan Whole Grain Linguine and the Japanese Pan Noodles. Both include a healthy serving of veggies, and the Tuscan is naturally high in protein so that's a bonus. If you want something a little less waistline-friendly, the Mac and Cheese is decadently delicious. Pro-tip: order it with all three cheeses. If you're feeling really adventurous, add a bunch of Sriracha and soy sauce to it at your table. You'll thank me. The atmosphere is extremely casual as you'd expect for the price, and when things are busy it's pretty noisy. With a kids menu on tap, it's not unusual to have a screamer here or there. But service is always pretty fast and I haven't encountered too many surly employees. Next time you're in the market for a speedy, healthy meal that still tastes good, swing in.

I have been going to Noodles for sometime now due to the convenience of ordering and paying online, stopping roadside - running in and picking up at the Sugarhouse location. I usually order the Med Sandwich and substitute veggies which they give you the option of doing.HIT & MISS I tell you. Once I got only cabbage and tomato's - the two veggies I had as substitutes - had to drive back - this has happened frequently. Today (as always) I asked for a side of med dressing - they didn't include it - checked before I left - went back in - and I got a WHOLE HALF TEASPOON of dressing. Thanks guys. I will be going to Subway from now on for my healthy alternative of bringing lunch from home.

Fancy inside but the food is less than mediocre. I tried the Thai Hot Pot spent $12 bucks and it was gross. The curry was too sweet and hardly had noodles. I wish I could get my money back but I just choose to not go back to Noodles & Co.

Noodles is such a good call all the time. So many flavors and menu items to choose from you can almost always find something you're in the mood for. Love the steak stroganoff, pad Thai, penne Rosa and Tuscan linguine and of course their famous Mac n cheese. My wife is obsessed with their parmesan crusted chicken and has tried to make it at home. We love this place and would definitely recommend to anyone.

I've been here about a million times now, so I guess it's time for an update. Noodles & Co. really has it together. They provide amazing service, have a really user-friendly website with online ordering and their food is consistently fresh and delicious. N & C isn't fine dining, or even casual sit-down. It's essentially fast food, served cafeteria style. Compared to other fast food joints, this place rocks! They have a diverse menu, so there's something for everyone. I've never had anything here that I hated and I've had a few things that I absolutely love. My favorites are the Japanese pan noodles with steak, pad thai, and spicy spaghetti and meat balls. And, as a huge bonus, they serve beer and wine! YUM!

  • S H.

Meh. Kids love it, especially the Mac and cheese. It always seems dirty in there. I feel like the food used to taste better and was more flavorful years back. It's expensive for dishes with noodles and not alot of flavor.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I didn't see too many high reviews but upon getting there, they had a really nice "noodle" selection from Asian (Jap, Thai) to Italian. The food was really fresh and you had the option to get soup, salad and sandwiches - what a variety for just a noodle shop! The employees were also really nice and they do serve you your food (of course, it's not a fancy sit down so you'll have to get your own drinks). Otherwise, the bowls were at $4 for a small and $6 for a large. I will say the portions are pretty darn small so don't expect to leave full - I'll opt for the reg/large bowl unless you're really not hungry then go for a small. Overall, great place and I'll be going back - food was tasty and fresh!

Decor: clean warm, and friendly. Food: Asian, Italian, and American style. Ranges from plain butter noodles to fancy Thai-style. All are delicious. Prices: Not cheap, but reasonable for the high quality. Good sized portions. Service: although it is not table-side service, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The biggest danger of any place that deals with pasta is over-cooking. Soft, pasty noodles are a crime. None of our dishes suffered from that. I wish I had found this place sooner, I'd have been a regular by now!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
